I'm doing research on the 2/7th Bn Lancs Fus and I was wondering if anybody had any info or records regarding this battalion.

Any information would be gratefully received.

Hi,

We a very little for the 1/7th Lancashire Fusiliers, War Diary excerts for May-Jun 1915, Aug 1915 and Sep 1917, and the order for the attack on Frezenberg Ridge 6 Sep 1917, as well as copies of History of the 42nd Diivision and some excerts from the Lancashire Fusiliers 1914-1918 - nothing on the 2/7th I am afraid,

2/7 Lancashire Fusiliers were in France & Flanders from 28th Feb 1917. From the info I have, it looks as though they were reduced to a Cadre on 18th April (I assume 1917) and disbanded in the UK on 9th July 1918.

Any help?

Much depends on what you are looking for. You will find some general info on the mother site. The regimental museum at Bury is an absolute mine of info.
