rflory Posted 6 December , 2003 Share Posted 6 December , 2003 The 155th Brigade, RFA became an Army Brigade on 16th Jan 17 and consisted of A, B, and C Batteries with 18-pdrs and D Battery with 4.5" Howitzers. During the rest of the war it served at various times with each of the following Corps: II, III, V, VI, VII, VIII, and IX and the following divisions: 1, 3, 6, 7, 9, 19, 23, 29, 30, 32, 37, 39, 47, 48, 56, 58 and 63. The brigade's war diary for the period Jan 16 to Feb 17 can be found at WO95/2380 and its war diary for Mar 17 to Feb 19 can be found at WO95/204. If you would like to know what corps and divisions the brigade was serving under at a particular period of time please let me know and I will do a look-up for you. Regards.
