Chris_Baker Posted 6 December , 2003 Share Posted 6 December , 2003 Are you betting on the outcome of "Terry's random casualty picker", Christine? Or do you know something I don't?

christine liava'a Posted 6 December , 2003 Author Share Posted 6 December , 2003 Are you betting on the outcome of "Terry's random casualty picker", Christine? Or do you know something I don't? No , just picking up Racing Teapots' challenge! But I'm off to Tonga tomorrow, so will be off line for a couple of weeks, so someone else can take over! If anyone wants photos from Tonga, they won't be war ones, Tonga was hardly in either war. but possibly British colonial ones, I'd be happy to oblige. christine liava'a Posted 6 December , 2003 Author Share Posted 6 December , 2003 we can't help being first in the world! Would it be possible to have a sub section of Soldiers for this thread? Then any information given about the various persons mentioned will be easily findable
Terry Denham Posted 6 December , 2003 Share Posted 6 December , 2003 That's interesting, Chris. How does that work then? Our Antipodean friends will always know first! The text appears through the execution of a bit of javascript, which checks the clock at the client end (ie the PC end), figures out what day it is, and prints the entry to the screen. You're right, Christine will always be a step ahead of those of us nearer the meridian. Chris
