For what it is worth, I have aKedives Star and an 1882 Egypt medal, the Egypt medal is inscribed to a sailor on HMS Sultan.

During WW2 HMS Sultan was minesweeper depot ship in Portsmouth. Also the accounting base shore establishment in Singapore.
