andyspiller Posted 27 December , 2003 Share Posted 27 December , 2003 Learned Pals Just found another relative Pte SR Tyrrell SS/666, 38th Depot Unit of Supply ASC. He died 15th July 1915 and is buried at St. Sever Cemetery, Rouen. Does anybody have any more detailed info on this depot or if the SS prefix to his service number is indicative of a particular job? Happy New Year to you all. Kind Regards Andy
Guest Ian Bowbrick Posted 27 December , 2003 Share Posted 27 December , 2003 The SS prefix refers to 'Supply Specials & Labour'. There is some info on ASC Labour Units on the mother site. Ian
