Steven Broomfield Posted 1 September , 2007 Share Posted 1 September , 2007 It may be me (indeed, it probably is me), but I've searched and can't find this book on the Forum. It is "Tip & Run, The untold tragedy of the Great War in Africa", by Edward Paice. It received excellent reviews in the big Sunday papers, so I lashed out the last of my birthday book tokens on it, Published by Wedenfeld & Nicolson at £25, it's just under 500 pages, with Appendices, source notes and a good index, plus 76 illustrations, maps, etc. The title and sub-title tell you what it's about: a far-away area of the war about which I know little. Has anyone read it; has a review appeared in these pages?

KONDOA Posted 1 September , 2007 Share Posted 1 September , 2007 Erm http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/i...hl=edward+paice http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/i...hl=edward+paice http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/i...hl=edward+paice Personally I still find it light on detail barring the section on the Carrier Corp which i think is the only untold story in there.
