PhilB Posted 27 September , 2007 Share Posted 27 September , 2007 In his "Officer Factory", Hans Helmut Kirst (auther of Night of the Generals) says, in regard to German soldiers:- "Love and War was the name of the magazine that turned the troops of the first World War weak at the knees."
