I have a Charles Thurman AFEC in the Australian forces

There is Charles George Richard Thurman 4th Field Ambulance in the Nominal roll.

What does AFEC stand for?

Hi Christine

My first reaction is that it could stand for Australian Field Engineer Company, though they are usually shown on the nominal roll as FCE.

Cheers

Andrew
