Doug Lewis Posted 16 January , 2004 Share Posted 16 January , 2004 Could anyone help to clarify some information I have. I'm researching a man Gunner Richard Newton D Bty 187th Bde RFA who DOW 12/10/18. While looking through a parish magazine it lists this man as being attached to 2nd Canadians. What I'm trying to work out is whether the whole Brigade was attached to the Canadians, was he alone attached(unlikely) or just wrong information in parish magazine. Any help would be aprieciated. olosangus Posted 16 January , 2004 Share Posted 16 January , 2004 Quite likely the whole brigade was attached. It was not unusual for RFA brigades to serve with the Canadian divisions. Simon
