Reference book, fuses - is there one?

Just wondering, is there a book that lists, with photographs or diagrams, all the artillery fuses used during the war? I know that there is a French magazine with a useful feature about German fuses, but I would be interested in one that covers all nationalities.

Not aware of a single publication that covers all fuzes in depth, Howard Williamson's book has minor details but nothing comprehensive. The Treatise (or Textbook) on Ammuntion (reprint from naval and Military) is useful for British but otherwise it is a case of trawling the web where you will find most fuzes covered in certain on-line articles or scans. Ebay will also provide CD scans of German publications.

Its not marked as HMSO the codes are

S.S.306

Ia/38390

Apart from that not much else to go on.

You could ask a general question about the book on the forum.

On a similar subject to my earlier enquiry, I saw this advertised on a well known internet auction site for a buy it now price of £200!!

"WW1 BRITISH ARTILLERY WEAPONS & AMMUNITION 1914 - 1918

SCARCE BOOK BY HOGG & THURSTON - THE DEFINITIVE STUDY".

Is it really THAT scarce?
