Chris_Baker Posted 24 January , 2004 Share Posted 24 January , 2004 Can anyone tell me what happened to 29th Field Ambulance RAMC, once it left 9th (Scottish) Division in May 1916 (where it was replaced by the South African Field Ambulance)? jimmyjames Posted 24 January , 2004 Share Posted 24 January , 2004 Chris It was based in the little village of Obernkircken in the then West Germany in the late sixties and early seventies. I was posted to 30th Field Ambulance at the time in a godforsaken place called Sennelager. In answer to your question, I'll try the RAMC "past and present" net.
