Firstly hello to everyone again, and may I wish you all a Happy Christmas and great New Year. Some of you may remember I was involved in 2006 with the first ever archaeological survey and excavation of a downed Zeppelin the one concerned here was L48 at Theberton. Well finally everything was recorded and photographed, lots of other WW1 sites were excavated and surveyed by GWAG (The Great War Archaeology Group) in the UK and the end result is a brand new book to be published by Tempus called "In Search of the Zeppelin War...The archaeology of the First Blitz" edited by Neil Faulkner and Dr Nadia Durrani. I have had a look at the proposed contents and it looks to be a superb publication. It is lavishly illustrated with original photographs, Now Scenes and metal detected artefacts etc. At present it is proposed for the book to come out late January early February 2008. If anyone would like further information please do contact me on j.evenhart@ntlworld.com

Cheers all Jules
