HI, I AM LOOKING FOR ANY INFO ON "SAPPER 96353 WALTER THOMAS BREWSTER R.E.

HE WAS MY GRANDFATHER.BORN 1890 IN ILFORD/MANOR PARK LONDON. JOINED THE ARMY BEFORE 1914, ELDEST BROTHER OF 3 THE OTHER 2 WERE KILLED IN FRANCE.

ALL I HAVE TO GO ON ARE HIS MEDALS, BWM & VICTORY.

I HAVE BEEN TOLD HE SERVED IN THE ROYAL ENGINEERS IN EGYPT/PALESTINE DURING WW1 AND LEFT THE ARMY AS A "COLOUR SGT OR SGT MAJOR". PROBABLY SOMETHING TO DO WITH RAILWAYS AS THIS WAS HIS CAREER AFTER WW1 WITH THE SOUTHERN RAILWAY BOARD.

I have his MIC but only shows number RE/101/52 does this mean any thing to anyone!
