Found this great sketch in the 44th Inf Btn AIF Diary June 1918 Appendices

Peter,

Thank you for posting that. I had seen an original copy of that sketch framed at the Museum of Australian Military Intelligence, it is an excellent example of WW1 "Technical Intelligence" reporting. Also does much in answering my questions at http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/i...2572&hl=A7v , in that the drawings are of Mephisto with information also provided from the French analysis of armour penetration on A7V 542 "Elfriede".

A pity the Queensland Museum does not display a copy of this early techint bulletin with Mephisto.
