WWI POW Rolls

I am looking for any assistance in researching a 14 Star/Bar to:

7879

Cpl P. Gordon

1/Gord:Highrs

From what I was told a while back, the MIC apparently shows him as a POW. The Bar is confirmed, and it is my understanding that many Gordons were captured early on. Are there any "POW" rolls, or other available records to follow this research further?

I'd like to know the basics of Service Entry Date, Capture Date, Prison Camp Locations, Repatriation Date, Possible Transfer to other units, etc. It appears he is not listed on the War Graves Commission, although tough to be sure with just the first initial. There is a KIA listed in same Batln. by same name (P. Gordon), but regimental number does not match up.

Thank you, Rich

Have you tried seeing whether his service record exists at Kew. If so, it may contain a "casualty form- active service" (Army form B 103). Most of what you look for is likely to be on this form
