Good Evening All

Just though I would let you know about 2 good books. The first is called Digging the Trenches by Andy Robertshaw and David Kenyon, excellent book if you like battlefield archaeology.

The second book is called The German Offensives 1918( the last desperate gamble) by Ian Passingham. Very in depth detail about the offensives and the build up before,Ideal for someone who

is intrested in this stage of the war like me,I recommend them both.

Regards Andy

I am part-way through Passingham's book and will post a more detailed review when finished. So far, however, I am not so impressed and would not categorise in quite the same way, FWIIW. Given the nature of the book and the series, it provides an overview sprinkled with anecdotes, rather than a very indepth review, IMHO.
