Hello Benedictine,

The Iron Duke did not start until 1925. If my memory serves me correctly, prior to that it was known as the 'Havercake', this was a very brief publication giving sparse details of promotions, births, marriages and deaths etc. The Regimental Archive at Halifax has a few (1890-1905) but during the Great War only one or two were published mainly concerned with the 1st Bn in India. Hope this helps.

Regards

Ron
