Alfred and Emily by Doris Lessing

An earlier posting had a link to a Daily Telegraph interview with Doris Lessing talking about her new book, Alfred and Emily, which is just out in hardback.

It is a part fiction, part non fiction book about her parents, I understand telling about their real lives - he was badly wounded by shrapnel during the war and she was a nurse - and the other half of the book is a fictional version of their lives if the Great War had not intervened.

Has anyone read this book yet?
